先日、芝離宮恩寵庭園に行ってきました。

Last week, I’ve been to Kyu Shiba rikyu garden.

この庭園には、黒松と赤松が合計215本あるそうです。

そのほとんど、213本が黒松です。

黒松は、潮風に強い植物。海岸でよくみられるのは、黒松です。

一方、赤松は山でよく見られます。

松茸は、赤松の周りに生えてきます。

There are 215 black pines and red pines in this garden.

Most of them, 213 are black pines.

Black pinse is a plant strong against sea breeze. Black pines is common on the coast.

On the other hand, red pines is common in mountains.

Matsutake grows around red pines.

でも、なかなか見た目では違いを見分けるのは難しいことです。

However, it is quite difficult to distinguish the difference in appearance.

触るとわかりやすいですよ。

黒松の葉はかたくて、

赤松の葉は柔らかめ。

If you touch, it is easy to understand the difference.

The leaves of the black pine are stiff,

The leaves of the red pine are soft.

庭園に行ったら、触ってみたいですね。
